Graduate Academic Unit-level Adherence to and Implementation of University Policy

Each graduate unit must examine the Graduate Policies and Procedures and identify unit-specific policies or practices that conflict with the University policies and procedures. Units shall adjust their practices to conform to University policy. If a unit believes it is necessary to maintain policies or practices that diverge from University policy, it shall petition the Vice Provost for Research and Graduate Education for an exception to policy.
