Undergraduate Research and Signature Work
When DU students connect their academic learning and personal passions to carry out original projects with faculty mentors, it's called signature work.
When signature work is designed to discover or create something new, it's called research. Signature work projects can also integrate and apply knowledge in new ways.
Signature work addresses complex issues while preparing students for careers and public good impact. For instance, signature work helps students develop critical thinking, communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.

Celebrating Signature Work. The University of Denver's Student Signature Work Showcase celebrates student-led projects that advance the discovery, integration, or application of knowledge. A featured event during DU’s Public Good Celebration, this interactive poster session brings together student presenters, their mentors, and our DU community.
