Daniel Felix Ritchie School of Engineering and Computer Science
The Daniel Felix Ritchie School of Computer Science and Engineering is dedicated to preparing the next generation of innovators to build solutions for some of the world’s most challenging problems. We not only ask “can we do this?” but also “should we do this?” and “how can we make a positive impact?”. Research forms the backbone of graduate education in the Ritchie School. Our researchers work to design new artificial joints, develop resilient energy systems, and build companion robots. We impact fields ranging from cardiac health to cybersecurity to robotics. In addition to our traditional thesis-based graduate programs, we offer professional graduate programs in Cybersecurity, Data Science, and Systems Engineering to help you build the skills employers need and want. In our programs we prioritize ethical applications of technology and preparing students for the workplace of tomorrow.
