Graduate School of Professional Psychology
The Graduate School of Professional Psychology (GSPP) offers five graduate degrees and three undergraduate degrees that all aim to prepare graduate and undergraduate students for professional and clinical practice. Focusing on applied professional work from a practitioner-scholar perspective at the graduate level, GSPP offers a Doctor of Psychology in Clinical Psychology (PsyD) and four master’s-level programs in Sport and Performance Psychology, International Disaster Psychology: Trauma and Global Mental Health, Forensic Psychology, and Sport Coaching (online), along with graduate certificate programs in Strength and Conditioning and Fitness Coaching (24 & 16 credits; online) and Psychology of Coaching (16 credits; online).
GSPP also offers undergraduate degrees, including the Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and Sport Studies, a minor in Kinesiology and Sport Studies, and a 4+1 dual-degree program that links undergraduate education to the MA in Sport Coaching program. Our goals are to train professionals in understanding human behavior through the integration of theory, research, and practice, and to improve the human condition through competent and ethical service.
